Overview

Organization members can connect their personal Google Calendar to 8call. Once connected, org owners and admins can use these calendars when configuring appointment types.
Calendars are stored at the organization level. Any admin/owner in the same org can see and attach connected calendars to appointment types.

Prerequisites

  • You have been invited to an organization as a member (not owner/admin).
  • Your workspace uses the latest dashboard with the Calendar and Appointments pages.

Connect your Google Calendar

1

Open the Calendar page

From the left sidebar, under Support, select Calendar. You must be logged in as a member. Owners and admins won’t see this page.
2

Start Google OAuth

On the Calendar page, select Connect Google Calendar. This opens a consent modal that explains which permissions 8call will request.
3

Approve access in Google

You are redirected to Google’s OAuth screen.
  • Review the requested permissions (calendar events, basic profile, email)
  • Approve access to continue
After approval, Google redirects you back to /integrations, where 8call finalizes the connection.
4

Verify your calendar is connected

You return to the Calendar page.
You should now see your Google Calendar listed as an active connection (showing your calendar name or email).

How admins use your calendar for appointments

Org owners and admins can now:
  • Open the Appointments page
  • Create or edit an appointment type
  • Select from all connected calendars (including yours) when choosing Calendar(s) for that appointment
This lets your AI agents book meetings directly on the calendars that members have connected.
